So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David […] While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she [Mary] gave birth to her firstborn, a son. (Luke 2:4-7, NIV)

the bible on the script above in my could be a point of beginning for a line, which we associated with a river.

this spot is Bethlehem..  now look at the significance of this spot in time.  it's point of beginning and ending just like the river we looked at, where it began and ended.

in Time bethlehem could be described as the point of beginning of the line of David,, and if so represents it point of origin.

this place at the birth of christ was an inn according to scripture above and others.  so in this plane, being time, and the line being a river, I'm thinking about the point at which this occured, the birth of christ is significant.  It is marked by a star shown in earlier article.  at the time of christ birth it is an inn or a place of rest, ,,

now if I stay with my analogy of a river and with the birth point A, and point A is a star in Bethlehem, (in picture) and today this same point is a site most recently the Church of the nativity, and today literally a protected site which marks point A of my analogy to a river.

now let's look at point B.  being Golgaltha, we know what is was then.  a place outside of the city for torture a physical blight now ?? need to see what the site of christ death(point B is today)
